With generations of artists and a ardent interest for the captured moment in pictures, Elva wanted to be a film photographer as a young teenager. Her destiny lied elsewhere and soon it was clear that it was an optional subject, Make-up and Mask of her three-year Radio and Television training that became her major interest. In 2006, Elva became a professional makeup artist, but then she had already been active within photography, design and makeup for many years. Parallel to her big photographic interest she was the main organizer for big, spectacular underground events in Stockholm's alternative art and culture circulation for many years.
